TOD'S
Leave Your Mark

We had the wonderful opportunity to work on this really exciting project for Tod's – an Italian heritage brand known for their high quality shoes and leather accessories,

Tod's asked us to create a series of content to promote their range of iconic 'Gommino' Driving shoe – a shoe that is listed by London's Design Museum as one of the 50 shoes “that changed the world.

After absorbing ourselves in to the Tod’s brand, we discovered that the leather soles of each Gommino shoe feature 133 hand punched holes through which 133 rubber bumps protrude.

 

So we based our concept on the idea that, with such a distinctive sole, wearers of Tod's shoes quite literally leave their mark in more ways than one.

To visualise the idea through print and digital, we created a collection of creative assets that showed both the Men's and Women's range of Gommino shoes in a variety of abstract environments that complimented the individual designs as well as giving a visual 'nod' to how the shoes could be worn: For business in the City. For leisure on the beach. Or for those who just wish to leave a fashionable mark wherever they go!

Shoes that standout

Because we were asked to create digital assets for Tod's social channels, this enabled us to create content that was not only fun but also really stood out.

Following on from the print campaign, we developed a creative toolbox of animated assets that really brought the idea of someone wearing a Tod's shoe and leaving their mark to life.
